Tennis in the Land 2024 Entry List Features Fernandez, Kenin & Schmiedlova

4th edition of the Tennis in the Land is set to take place 18 to 24 August 2024 on the hard courts at Jacobs Pavilion in Cleveland, Ohio, the USA. The US Open warm-up tournament features 32 player singles draw and 16 teams doubles draw.

While the WTA Cleveland event has been held every year since 2021, Anett Kontaveit, Liudmila Somsonova and Sara Sorribes Tormo are the singles title winners.

2020 Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin, 2021 US Open runner-up Leylah Fernandez, Paris Olympic Games semifinalist Anna Karolina Schmiedlova and many other WTA star players are scheduled to compete for 250 points on the southern shore of Lake Erie.

Most notably, defending champion Sara Sorribes Tormo’s name is not in the tentative players list of the North American tennis event. Spaniard recently claimed a bronze medal at the Paris Olympic Games doubles event.
