Recently upgraded to WTA500 category, Monterrey Open is scheduled to held at the new venue, Club Sonoma, from 19 to 24 August 2024 in Mexico. The outdoor hard court tennis event features 32 players singles draw and 16 teams doubles draw.
World No.5 Jasmine Paolini will be the top seed of the singles main draw of the US Open 2024 warm-up tournament. Italian will compete alongside with Paris Olympic 2024 Silver medalist Donna Vekic, World No.8 Danielle Collins and former World No.3 Elina Svitolina, who claimed the title in 2020.
Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova is the leading the title winner of the North American tennis event, while last year Donna Vekic lifted the trophy following the three sets win over Caroline Garcia of France.
